Puppy Loves the New PJs from Grandma
According to sources close to the situation, Bandit, an area Chihuahua, absolutely adores the pajamas his grandma sent him for Christmas.
“He won’t take the them off,” said friend T.J. Wallander of the new sleepwear. “He’s basically had them on since Christmas morning.”
That’s not a problem yet, said Wallander and others, but it might be. "He’s so cute in them that it’s hard to really care when he’s just wearing them around the house. But school starts again in a couple of days, and Bandit can’t wear his PJs to class,“ Wallander said. "At some point – soon – he’s going to have to change.”

Wisconsin Dog Cheers Packers to Playoffs
Frodo, an 11-year-old pup from The Badger State, was thrilled to see the Green Bay Packers ascend to the NFL playoffs in early December. But he kept cheering his favorite team as they trounced the Titans for their 11th win.
“After the Packers scored their seventh touchdown against the Titans, Frodo decided it was safe for him to snooze a little and store up energy for the playoffs,” says Colleen Weir, a source close to the situation.
YMCA Doggie Pool Re-Opens After Renovations
The doggie lap pool at the local YMCA has re-opened after extensive renovations, according to activities director Angie Tilchen. The pool needed to be completely resurfaced after a large tear was found in its lining in October.
“In addition to the new pool lining, we also upgraded the filtration system and repainted the locker rooms,” said Tilchen.
The YMCA pool is a popular winter hangout for local dogs, who like to get exercise by swimming laps. According to Tilchen, the renovations cost $32,000 and were funded in large part by grant money.
