Puppy Leaves Early for BarkWorld 2013
Thought it’s still more than four months away, a puppy named Jack is so excited for this year’s BarkWorld Expo that he’s packed his bags and headed down to Atlanta early.
“He’s been looking forward to it all year,” says Amanda Cornish, Jack’s roommate. “Every day, it’s ‘BarkWorld this,’ and ‘BarkWorld that.’ So yesterday he just packed up and left. I think he wanted to reserve the best seat at the Westin.”
The annual conference for social media-savvy pet bloggers and industry experts will take place from August 22-24 in Atlanta, GA, and will feature speakers from Change.org, Mashable, and this publication: The Fluffington Post. Whether your pet is a social media celebrity, or you manage online campaigns for a pet-friendly brand, you’ll want to connect at BarkWorld.
Tickets are still available, so reserve your seat now!

Local Puppy Heartbroken Over Household Nutella Shortage
When Pippy the pug was told that there was no more Nutella in the house, she was reportedly overcome with sadness.
“She absolutely loves that stuff,” said Liza Billings, a source close to the situation. “It’s creamy. It’s hazelnutty. Really, what’s not to love?"
According to Billings, Pippy was nearly inconsolable. However, sources tell The Fluffington Post that the hazelnut spread has been restocked, and the dog is slowly starting to cheer up.

Dog’s Piano Lesson Biz Is Booming
A Chicago, IL pup named Dudley was finally able to quit his day job as an insurance consultant thanks to a spike in appointments for his side business – teaching piano out of his home.
“He was featured in the Arts section of the Chicago Sun Times,” says neighbor Stephanie Clarmont. “Since then, there have been kids and adults coming in and out for hour-long sessions. Seems like business is great for him.”

Dog Grows Beard for Charity
According to his Facebook profile, a 2-year-old dog named Dillon is growing out his beard in support of a local charity.
“He’s a huge advocate for arts education, and he hates reading about budget cutbacks in that area,” says Wendy Feinstein, a friend who is assisting Dillon with his charitable giving. “He has a substantial online following, so he decided to post photos of his beard to raise money.”
So far, the dog has raised $214, which he plans to donate to the music department of a local public school.
