STUDY: Humans Vulnerable to Puppy Head Tilt
A new study from Duke University’s School of Animal Behavior indicates that humans have absolutely no immunity to the puppy head tilt. Further, the study finds that canine evolution has been selecting for this trait for generations.
“Our research indicates that when a dog tilts his head to the side, humans have little to no resistance and wind up doing whatever the pup wants,” said lead researcher Anson Wu. “It gets ‘em every time.”
Wu and his team aren’t sure whether puppies are even aware of their powerful evolutionary quirk.
“I’d have to guess not, but you never know,” he said. “I really hope they’re not planning to use the tilt for evil. We’d be totally boned if they did.”

Puppy Has Fun on Local Wine Tour
Ollii the pug spent this past weekend doing something he’d never done before: going on a wine tasting tour to a number of a local vineyards. And he loved it, according to friends.
The dog spent Saturday afternoon making his way through the Showangunk Wine Trail in New York’s Hudson Valley with friends Annie and Lisa.
“He didn’t actually drink any of the wine,” said companion Annie Williams, “but he devoured all the free cheese.”

STUDY: Dogs Also Look Silly Wearing Google Glass
A new study from the University of Waterloo in Canada has concluded that dogs looks even more ridiculous than people when wearing Google Glass.
“Wearable computer is clearly the future,” said lead researching Avery Bayard, citing the aforementioned Glass, as well as Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch. “But the manufacturers have work to do to make them attractive.”
According to their research, a majority of people thought that Google Glass just looked strange on those wearing it. That number was even more pronounced for dogs.
“There are definitely advantages to these devices,” said Bayard, “but fashion isn’t one of them.”
