Red Panda Cubs Make First Daytime Outing
Red panda parents Angelina and Chota were proud to announce the birth of their twin daughters in June, but the cubs made their first daylight appearance outside the den on Friday, according to officials at the Dublin Zoo.
“They are just the cutest of all time,” said one excited onlooker, who photographed the cubs feverishly.

Fox Caught Napping in Neighbor’s Yard
A gray fox named Cassidy was startled awake when a neighbor caught him napping right out in his back yard.
“You don’t see me goin’ around sleeping on people’s patios,” Jerry Ableton tells The Fluffington Post. “Why’s he gotta sleep on my lawn? I just put down new seed.”

Hedgehog Appointed Spokespet for Strawberry Lobby
The International Association of Strawberry Growers has appointed a hedgehog as their spokespet, the group is set to announce at the BerryFest Conference this morning.
“It’s an unusual choice for sure,” said professor of berry science at Duke University, Dr. Mike Mandelbaum. "I don’t really see the connection, but the little guy sure is cute. I mean, will I buy more strawberries as a result? Probably. Oh… yeah, so I guess it is a good choice.“
