Cat Reaches Summit of Couch
Intrepid explorer cat Spartacus has reached the summit of the couch.
For the past two weeks, the entire nation has watched with baited breath as Spartacus attempted to scale the side of the living room couch, live on NatGeo TV.
He finished his ascent at 8:46am local time this morning.
“It was touch and go there for awhile,” said NatGeo producer, Schuyler Bentley. “When the vacuum came on in the other room, I thought Spartacus might give up.”
But the cat persevered and is now resting with his sherpa on the top of left cushion. He will begin his descent later today.
