Kitten’s First Baking Adventure Goes Awry

After watching hours of shows on the Food Network, Rudy the cat decided he was ready to try his first experiment in the kitchen. He found a simple recipe for chocolate chip cookies that seemed to be within his ability. 

The aspiring young chef was able to acquire a mixing bowl, but rather than fill it with flour and sugar, he decided it would be best used as a spot to curl up and rest.

“I can tell you where he went wrong,” said chef and restauranteur Rochelle Harrison. “Cookies are simple: butter, eggs, flour, sugar, chocolate chips. But no cat. Rudy added too much cat to the bowl.”

It seems that this young kitten might be better off leaving treat preparation to the professionals.

Romantic Cat Wears Heart on Her Collar

It’s easy for today’s single cats to feel like they’ll never find that special someone, but Snowball has refused to give up on love. From chatting with local barflies to testing the waters of online dating, she’s determined to find the tom out there who is her perfect match.

To demonstrate her sincerity, Snowball has decided to put her emotions on the line and quite literally wear her heart on her collar. 

Close confidante Rita Martin said that despite the challenges of modern-day dating, Snowball is still optimistic.

“She gets plenty of garbage from OKCupid — the messages just saying ‘u r hot’ and stuff like that — but she’s holding out hope,” Martin said. “She’s a great cat, so loving and friendly. It’s just a matter of time before she finds the right lap to curl up in.”

Cats Sue IKEA Over “Double” Bed

New York City felines Tofu and Gertie have brought a class action lawsuit against DIY furniture and meatball retailer IKEA, claiming the company falsely advertised its SMULA tray product as a “double bed.”

“It’s obvious you cannot fit two cats comfortably in this tray, and I have 27 pictures to prove it,” says Barry Snyder, the attorney representing the cats. “Whether IKEA purposefully misled consumers is up for debate, but one thing’s for sure – any cat who purchased a tray to share with a friend deserves his money back.”

It’s still too early to know how many cats will join the suit, or whether it will hold up in court. A hearing before a district judge is scheduled for June 11th.
