SURVEY: Cats Prefer Marshmallow Peeps Stale
If you’ve still got Easter candy left over, don’t worry about it going to waste. A new survey out from The Cadbury Institute finds that three out of five cats actually prefer stale candy – especially marshmallow peeps.

Area Kitty Upset by Mainstream Media Portrayal of Cats
Pickle, a local cat, is furious by the mainstream media’s negative portrayal of his species. "Cats are often depicted by the media as poor spellers, many times engaged in an activity with some sort of invisible friend, tool or instrument,“ said Larry Owens, the cat’s lawyer. "Pickle feels that he speaks for cats everywhere when he says that he is sick of this damaging stereotype and how it is constantly reinforced by the mainstream press.”
Pickle is seeking a formal acknowledgement of the issue from the Society of Professional Journalists and plans to put together an educational packet entitled “The Rich History of Cats: No LOLing Matter” to be released this fall.

NYC Kitten Hypnotizes Victims Before Snuggling
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has issued a warning for all five boroughs to be on the lookout for a kitten named Clove (pictured above). The 8-week-old is wanted for hypnotizing people with his intense eyes and then snuggling them inappropriately.
Clove was last seen snuggling with his sister Clementine “all day long,” according to eye-witnesses. As always, if you see something, say something.

Chicago Cat to Star in ‘Hell Hotel IV’
Horror film fans, rejoice. The fourth installment of the Hell Hotel series has been green-lit by Lions Gate Entertainment and will star newcomer Bruce, a cat actor plucked from obscurity on the Chicago improv scene.
“Bruce is traditionally a comic actor,” says Jerry Levine, the cat’s new agent. “But this will be an opportunity for him to flex his character muscles and really shine as the lead in a thriller.”
