Kitty Calls Dibs on Favorite Blanket
A two-year-old cat named Oliver (Ollie to his friends) knew as soon as he saw a leopard-print blanket that he must have it.
“When we brought it home, he immediately claimed it,” Laura Sayles tells The Fluffington Post. “He couldn’t stop pawing and sucking on the blanket, probably because the markings looked so much like his mom.”

New Art Installation Features Colorful Cats on Canvas
The Pantheon Gallery in New York is now home to an exquisite collection of mixed media impressionist works by Charlotte Gautier. In her series entitled The Family, cats of various colors are set against complimentary canvases. The result is a vibrant emotional spectrum that has left many art lovers spellbound.
The Family will be exhibited at the Pantheon Gallery in SOHO from now until the end of June.

Cat Procrastinates on Term Paper Assignment
The school year is in its final throes, but that means exams and term paper deadlines loom heavy on the horizon. Lulabell, a student at the University of Southern California, is finding it hard to concentrate on her final assignment.
“That paper counts for half her grade,” says Mandy Sellers, roommate of the procrastinating cat. “She needs to stop watching YouTube videos and get down to work.”

One-Eyed Cat Has Clever Name
A cat with one eye has been awarded the “Awesome Name” prize by the National Feline Nomenclature Foundation.
His moniker? Pirate – Pi, for short.
