Area Cat’s Rabbit Hat Is Not for Everyone

A local cat, by the name of Chinchilla, has taken to wearing a rabbit hat out in public, say friends.  While fashion experts are calling the hat “daring,” many friends just think it looks stupid. 

“I love Chichi to death, but come on… that thing looks ridiculous,” said one friend on the condition of anonymity. “I have to hand it to her, though.  She definitely hears the snickers and sees the pointing, but she never lets it get to her.  She just keeps right on wearing that hat.  She may look like a doofus, but she owns it.”

Clothing Retailer Announces New Kitty Return Policy

International fashion brand Zara has announced that returns of on sale kitties will now be accepted for store credit for up to 30 days after purchase, as long as the cats remain in wearable condition.  Previously, discounted kitty sales were final and no returns were accepted.  As always, cats not on sale can be returned for a full refund for up to 45 days following purchase.

“This is a fabulous policy change,” said consumer advocate and kitty fashion expert Olga Wexler.  "I applaud Zara for making this consumer-friendly decision.“

Cat Will Answer Three Questions

While some critics remain skeptical, many pilgrims claim that the long hike up to the mountain abode of the so-called “Oracle of Katmandu” is worth it.  The oracle will supposedly answer three questions truthfully, though sometimes his answers take the form of infuriating riddles.  Believers say the cat is able to draw on the vast knowledge of the entire universe, while skeptics say it’s just another tourist trap.
