Local Cat Wins Regional Cuddling Championship
A cat named Bunji has been named the winner of the Regional Cuddling Championships. The month-long tournament, which spans 36 municipalities, is held every summer and aims to find the area’s most affectionate kitty.
“The competition was intense this year,” says Tim Shelby, a tournament judge. “But Bunji really hung in there. Just when you thought he couldn’t have more cuddle in him, he gets his second wind.”

Area Cat Does All His Own Stunts
In an effort to dispel the rumors that he has been using a stunt double and elaborate computer effects, a local cat named Stuttgart has put out a series of photos and videos detailing his stunt work. An expert in photographic forensics employed by The Fluffington Post confirms that the videos and pictures have not been altered: Stuttgart appears to be doing all the stunts himself.
“Stuttgart takes his craft very seriously,” said his agent, Alan Greenberg, in a statement. “He has always performed his own action sequences and will continue to do so.”

Eat your heart out, WrestleMania. According to television ratings analysts, the highly anticipated upcoming July 4 rematch between a kitten and a bunny is expected to shatter previous pay-per-view records.
“We’ve already sold 930,000 units in the New York City metro area alone,” said a spokesperson for Time Warner Cable. The expectation is for over 15 million buys nationwide, far surpassing records for heavyweight boxing, WWE or UFC events. Revenue is expected to approach three quarters of a billion dollars.
“With the fragmentation in today’s media landscape, I never thought we’d see numbers like this again,” said television historian Arthur Cobb. “But this kitten and this bunny are huge – they’re bigger than Holyfield and Tyson. By a long shot.“
The latest odds have the kitten as a 3:1 favorite.
