Cat Regrets Scheduling Photo Shoot First Thing in the Morning
A local cat named Jim is reportedly unhappy with his recent headshots and is blaming the early morning shoot time for his unfortunate appearance in the photos. He received the proofs from the photographer earlier today and has apparently already requested a reshoot.
“We’re not really sure why Jim thought 7 am on New Year’s Day would be a good time to take new headshots,” said Jim’s official biographer and former grade school chum Lizzy Meyers. “I mean, Jim likes to party. And December 31 is the biggest party night of the year. He was expectedly in rough shape the next morning.”
The aspiring feline actor could not be reached for comment.

Therapy Cat Rests After a Long Day of Work
Oscar, a certified therapy cat, does hospice care and helps patients deal with extremely difficult circumstances. After a long day on the job, there’s nothing Oscar enjoys more than taking a load off, kicking back and curling up in bed with his favorite pillows for some R&R.
“Don’t get me wrong, Oscar loves his job,” said Susan Wilkins, a source close to the situation, “but it can also be very draining. And I mean, let’s be honest here: he’s a cat – sleeping is pretty much what they do.”
Oscar, who was adopted as a rescue and has battled numerous hardships in his life, is a real-life certified hospice therapy pet. This fluffy little hero’s rags to riches story, as well as that of his late friend, Nubiana, is chronicled in the book Nubiana: A True Story About a Very Special Kitty. 50% of the profits from sales of the book go to fund animal rescue groups, and over $700 has been donated since the book was released last summer.

Kitty Unimpressed with Android Tablets at CES
Miles, a cat journalist working for the MeowTechTimes.com blog, has so far been disappointed with the Android tablet offerings at this year’s CES. After three days in Las Vegas, Miles isn’t finding a lot to get excited about.
Polaroid? Meh. Acer? Yawn. Panasonic? No thanks. Vizio came closest to piquing Miles’ interest with their bevy of new Android tablets, but even their offerings made him want to go to sleep. (Which he did – he’s slept most of the trip to Vegas, actually.)
“I think Miles feels that most of the tablet spotlight this year is on Windows 8 and there just isn’t as much for a Android fan like himself to get psyched about,” explained Jim Stanton, Miles’ editor.
Maybe next year, kitty.
