Cat Sues Computer Manufacturer for False Advertising

Bobcat, an orange tabby from New Jersey, has brought suit against computer maker Lenovo. At issue, the cat claims that when he ordered his ThinkCentre desktop PC the website claimed it would come with a free mouse.

“Instead, Bobcat was sent a computer input device that in no way resembles a rodent,” reads the legal brief filed at the Bergen County Court House in Hackensack, NJ this morning.

Legal scholars, however, say the case has no merit.

“This really won’t go anywhere,” said Timothy Goldthwaite, a professor of consumer law at Princeton University. “While the Lenovo web site doesn’t explicitly specify computer mouse, it is unreasonable to assume that a major electronics manufacturer would ship a live rodent with a PC purchase. This is just a waste of the court’s time.”

Cat Falls Asleep During Conference Call

Max the cat really wishes he hadn’t fallen asleep during this morning’s conference call. He was up all night chasing a bug and just couldn’t keep his eyes open during the meeting. Big mistake.

It turns out that while dozing off, Max accidentally signaled to his boss that he would volunteer to run the new corporate office in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Wales.

It’s a real place, and Max can’t even pronounce it. He certainly doesn’t want to uproot his whole life and move there. Wikipedia tells him he can shorten it to Llanfairpwllgwyngyll – sure, that’s a real help.
