What does a cat in the prime of his life do on a pleasant summer weekend? If you’re Toby, a cat from Tallahassee, FL, you stay in and work on your 500 piece puzzle of the American Southwest.
“We tried to get him to come out this weekend,” said Martina Lyle, an acquaintance of Toby’s from school. “But he insisted that he was going to stay in and work on his puzzle. Whatever. His loss.”
It’s not all puzzles and napping, though: on Sunday, Toby plans to take a long bath and then cough up a hairball.

Local Cat Spends 7 Hours Per Day on Reddit
An area cat named Tiny apparently has a 7-hour per day Reddit addiction, according to friends and colleagues. It is, they say, starting to affect his quality of life.
“Don’t get me wrong,” said close friend Cameron Shulte. “I love Reddit. But it’s a total time suck and I love Tiny more.”
Shulte and others say that Tiny is often late for meals, sleepy all the time and insists on sharing ridiculous videos, pictures and facts with everyone at social gatherings. Friends are planning and intervention this weekend.

Cat Goes ‘Backpacking’ Around Europe
Anderson the cat had a dream. He wanted to take a year off before college and just bum around Europe. This week, he made that dream a reality when he stowed away in the backpack of his friend Chris Samson, who himself had just left for a European sojourn.
The Fluffington Post caught up with Samson and Anderson outside of Marseille, France.
“When I first found Andy in my pack I’ll admit, I was a little pissed,” recalled Samson. “But the little guy is a pretty good travel buddy.”
According to Samson traveling with a cat has its perks. Anderson doesn’t weigh much, he keeps bugs at bay at night, he has a knack for finding the best napping spots in every city, and he’s great at starting conversations with fellow travelers at hostels.
