Puppy Falls Asleep After 48-Hour Halo Marathon

After scoring a copy of Halo 4 over the weekend, Max the puppy played the game straight through, start to finish, almost without breaks.

“His mom brought him some milk bones at one point and he stopped for a rawhide break – you know, just to keep sane – but mostly Max played straight through without stopping,” said close friend Jamie O’Connor.  Max finished the game sometime early Wednesday morning and has been asleep ever since.

“Little guy totally pooped himself out,” reported O’Connor. What’s next for Max? Most likely he’ll tackle Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Hamster Lost in Replica Mario World for Hours

Horace the hamster is a glutton for adventure.  He’s climbed Mt. Katahdin in Maine, he’s BASE jumped from the Perrine Bridge in Idaho and spelunked into the Cave of Swallows in Mexico.  So when he was given a chance to explore a replica of the world from Super Mario Bros., he couldn’t resist.

Unfortunately for Horace, his GPS malfunctioned and he was lost in a confusing mess of pipes and blocks for nearly four hours.

“He took the wrong turn in level two and wound up in an underground world,” said Whitney Hazelhurst, a source close to the situation.  "It was touch an go there for a bit when the fireballs started, but once he got through he got a ton of gold coins in the bonus area.“
