Cat/Squirrel Roommate Conflict Reaches Head

According to reports, Lyle the cat has finally put his paw down after a series of infractions committed by his squirrel roommate, Buford. Sources close to the situation tell The Fluffington Post that Buford has been effectively locked out of the pair’s apartment since misplacing his keys this morning.

“It had to happen,” says James Runson, a friend of the two. “Buford was always borrowing Lyle’s DVDs and never returning them. Then there was the garbage situation – Buford would never do it when it was his week. He can’t keep track of his keys but he somehow has no problem leaving acorns all over the place. Somebody had to set him straight.”

Rock and Roll Cats Are Raising Money for New Tour Bus

Legendary performing groups The Amazing Acro-Cats and The Rock Cats tour the country with their exciting live stunt and music show. But they’re facing a big challenge. Their tour bus is in bad shape.

“The current bus has seen better days,” says Samantha Martin, Chief Human with the troupe. In order to keep the show on the road while fostering and training shelter cats in need, the group has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a new bus.

With 21 days to go, they’re just about half way toward their goal.

Cat Monitors Household Water Usage

After learning about the dangers of overconsumption of the world’s fresh water supply at school, Toulouse the cat has been diligently monitoring his household’s water usage. While admirable, says a source close to the situation, the cat has gone too far.

“Has he not heard of a little thing called privacy?” asked roommate Tammy Winterbottom.  "I mean, sure, knock twice if I’m in the shower for more than 10 minutes, run the dishwasher on light mode, whatever, but some of the stuff he’s doing is just too much.“

According to Winterbottom, the most egregious of Toulouse’s offenses is his watchful eye over the amount of times the toilets are flushed.  "Yes for number two, and no for number one,” she said. “Fine. It’s a little gross, but I can deal. But, seriously, does he have to sit on the bowl and watch me while I go?  It’s creepy.  It has to stop.”
