Kitten Makes Case for Own Adoption
Jingle, a local kitten, has put together a 20-slide PowerPoint deck that extols the merits of adopting him.
“There are at least seven slides on cuteness. Three on companionship,” says Caleb Fitzgerald, who has seen the presentation. “He’s shopping it around to a few prospective clients and taking a lot of meetings. Jingle won’t just settle for any old adopter.”

Tell-All Book Reveals the Evil Intentions of Cats
In his controversial new book Purrfect Secrets: Exposing the Truth About the Cat Underworld (Harper Collins), investigative journalist Dean Kellenberg conducted extensive interviews with high ranking cats from across the country. For the first time, a number of whistle blowers have gone on record about cats’ organized plan for a global power grab.
“You would not believe how deep it goes,” Kellenberg tells The Fluffington Post. “There are cats in the White House plotting with the cats of North Korean dignitaries. We’re talking about the ebb and flow of very volatile diplomatic relations, all in the paws of these unassuming animals. And they are planning something big.”
How big? You’ll have to buy the book to find out.
Meanwhile, cat groups are up in arms about the title, which hits bookshelves and e-readers on Tuesday. A spokesperson for cats maintains their previous position that cats are not evil, and has vehemently refuted any implications to the contrary.

Cat Lands Home Decorating Show on HGTV
British interior designer and 6-year-old cat Rosie has scored a new reality decorating show on the Home and Garden network. Tentatively titled Rosie Gets Real, the show deals with families on a budget who want to makeover a room, but don’t have the money for their dream amenities.
“It’s about bargain hunting and making a little bit of style go a long way in the space,” says executive producer Kevin Roberts. “Rosie is brilliant at this – she can make Walmart curtains look like they came from Versailles. And the camera really loves her.”
Six episodes have already been shot, and the show is scheduled to launch in November.
