Criminal Cat Nabbed for Carjacking

Howard Monette, III (better known by his street name “Skittles”) was apprehended by police and charged with carjacking after he climbed into a parked vehicle and attempted to hot wire it.

“I was across the street, and I could see the cat climbing in the passenger-side window,” witness Kelly Crose tells The Fluffington Post. “I immediately called the cops. They got him.”

Kitties Exhausted After Strenuous Workout

Kitties Exhausted After Strenuous Workout

A new kitty workout craze called “Meowrengue" is sweeping the nation and it is leaving cats everywhere tired, but in the best shape of their lives.  The new fitness regimen combines elements of scratching, toy chasing, Tae Bo and Zumba.

"These are extremely up-tempo workouts that most cats aren’t used to,” said instructor Lizzy Anders.  "But kitties generally find that they love it once their bodies get acclimated to the moves.  They may be completely worn out after an hour of Meowrengue, but we have a kitty obesity epidemic in this country and more cats need to get active.  This is a positive step toward creating a generation of healthier cats.“

DIsaster Strikes When Cat Unsuccessfully Goes for a Walk

Morris the cat thought he could take himself for a walk. He was wrong.

The local fire department had to be called this morning after Morris tried to hook himself up to a leash and take himself for a stroll. According to eyewitnesses it took less than 60 seconds for Morris to become so tangled in the leash that he was completely unable to move.

“Cats are not generally well practiced walkers,” said county fire chief, Angus Winstead. “I’m not sure what Morris was thinking, but we don’t advise any cat attempts self-walking without a lot of supervised practice under his belt.”

Cat’s Rampant Attitude Problem Goes Unchecked

Cat’s Rampant Attitude Problem Goes Unchecked

A Bakersfield, CA cat named Bacardi has been running amok for nearly four years, according to sources.

“She has had attitude since day one,” says Margaret Haggard, who is very familiar with the situation. “She hisses and spits at everyone except me. Since I brought her home, she has not left my side or lap. She loves snacks and playing with her laser spot.”

But this selective “cattitude” doesn’t sit well with everyone.

“She can be kind of rude,” says Charlie O’Malley, a neighbor. “I asked to borrow a cup of sugar the other day and she just flipped her tail up at me. I mean, really.”
