Nosey Cat Charged With Privacy Invasion

An area cat named Scooter will appear in court today to face one count of invasion of privacy. The prosecution alleges the cat snooped through Harold Zuk’s personal affects, including a suitcase, a sock drawer and email inbox.

“My client is a curious fellow,” says Cody Neil, attorney for the defendant. “But last I checked, curiosity isn’t a crime. Scooter had no malicious intent, and we will prove that at trial.”

Cat’s Selfie Earns Record Facebook Likes

In a move that flies in the face of most Internet etiquette, Penny the cat uploaded a self-shot (or “selfie”) to Facebook as her new profile image. The photo, while taken at a flattering angle, clearly shows her own paw in frame. But despite the cliche, Penny’s pic was popular among her Facebook friends.

“It got 15 likes and three positive comments,” says Shira Tatum, a social media analyst. “That’s a new record for Penny. Her self-esteem is likely through the roof.”
