Vacationing Polar Bear Can’t Get Enough Sun
Willie, a polar bear from the Arctic Circle, has been vacationing in Hilton Head, SC since last Thursday. He’s scheduled to go home tomorrow morning and he just can’t get enough sun. Sid and Nancy Olafsson, year-round residents of the island, tell The Fluffington Post that Willie has been outside tanning from sunup to sundown since he arrived. Baby Bear Diagnosed With Social Anxiety
Bear psychologists have diagnosed a local cub with social anxiety disorder after he exhibited extreme shyness around others.
“Sometimes cubbies can be a little awkward around their peers, but most will grow out of it,” says Dr. Jane Camping. "But a bear with social anxiety may have setbacks – he won’t be able to eat at the cool kids table, or will be too shy to ask a girl to the Spring Fling dance. So it’s good to diagnose that early on.“
Bear Tandem Wins Ballroom Dancing Competition
For the second year in a row, the duo of Brutus and Buckeye have triumphed in the Great Ohio Wilderness Ballroom Dancing Finals. The two brown bears from the Columbus Zoo wowed judges with their mastery of the tango. "Such a delicate dance for such large beasts,“ said the Ukranian judge. "They were flawless.”

Playground Scuffle Outs Panda Cub Bully
Jinke, a cub at the Bifengxia Panda Center in Ya’an, China, was minding his own business, enjoying a horsie ride on the playground.
That’s when multiple witnesses reported seeing Shenbin, a fourth grader, giving Jinke a hard time.
“He wouldn’t wait his turn,” an onlooker tells The Fluffington Post under condition of anonymity. “He just started pushing Jinke around. We thought it was good-natured at first – then came the tears.”
