Area Squirrel Often Goes to His “Quiet Place”
Chester, a local squirrel, is often seen at the southeast corner of his roof, lost in thoughtful reflection. "That’s his quiet place. He goes there when he needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of the backyard,“ said one nosy neighbor, who insists her binoculars are for "bird watching.”
According to sources, Chester seems to get his best thinking done while at his secluded roof spot. After some time on the roof, said one witness, Chester will usually have figured out how thwart whatever new-fangled anti-squirrel devices neighborhood residents have installed on their bird feeders, for example.
