New Study Finds Dogs Are Poor Tennis Players
A new study out of Carnegie Mellon University finds that puppies are terrible at playing tennis. For example, when given a tennis ball and outfit, Sammy the Yorkie (pictured above) simply pushes the equipment around with his snout, and cares little for refining his backhand, according to David Leiva.
Experts point to dogs’ lack of opposable thumbs and strong cultural bias toward soccer as possible roots of their ineptitude.
