Cats Sublet Dog Crate by the Hour
Reasonably priced rental space is hard to come by in New York. That’s why Brooklyn cats Miko and Willow opt to sublet from their neighbor, a dog named Ranger.
“Ranger’s a busy guy,” says Emily Banks, a source close to the situation. “He’s not using his crate 24/7, so he makes a little money on the side and the cats have a place to live while he’s out for a walk. Everybody wins.”
With a little encouragement, a baby duck named Charley ran just over one mile in four minutes – a milestone for any athlete.
“He’s really built up his endurance in recent months,” says Julio Medders, one of Charley’s running buddies. “I knew he was going to hit the mark, I just didn’t think it would be so soon.”

Wisconsin Pup Has Sights Set on Olympic Gold
A Portuguese water dog from Madison, WI has been training since birth (three months ago) to compete on the U.S. Olympic water polo team.
“Homer J. has been training really hard,” his coach Mathew Nimmons says of the determined pup. “But if he wants to get to London in 2012, he’s going to need to move on from the kiddie pool – and soon.”
