Cat’s Kicks Give Shaq a Run for His Money
It’s long been known that Shaquille O’Neal has some of the biggest feet in basketball. At size 22, his sneakers were a force to be reckoned with on the court.
But a Pennsylvania cat named Patches is about to go toe-to-toe with the NBA great – at least in terms of shoe size.
While Patches wears a men’s size 9, when compared to his body, he’s sporting a relative size of 25.
“There’s no question that his feet are abnormally large,” says his vet, Dr. Phillip Oday. “But you know what they say about cats with large feet.”

Lion Dog Baffles Biologists
In a breathless press conference this morning, a team of scientists in Borneo announced that they believe they have discovered a previously unknown species of dog.
“As you can see from the photo,” said Dr. Gillian Sturbridge, “the animal exhibits the facial structure of a common yellow lab, but the mane of an African lion.”
According to scientists, this would be an extremely unlikely combination, given that cats and dogs split on the genetic tree tens of millions of years ago. That’s why what is now being called the “Bornean Lidog” is such an exciting discovery.
The Fluffington Post will be bring you more on this exciting event as it becomes available.

Consumer Analysts: Bucket of Cats Not As Big As In Past
According to a new report from the American Consumers Bureau, a special interest group protecting the rights of consumers, a bucket of cats is now 15% smaller than it was 10 years ago.
“It used to be that buying cats by the bucket was the most economical way to purchase felines,” said Todd Borisov, a spokesperson for the ACB. "But now we’ve found that manufacturers have cut the size of those buckets by up to 15% over the past decade, without any corresponding change in cost. In fact, in some cases the price has gone up!“
The ACB now recommends adopting cats from your local animal shelter as the most cost-efficient way to acquire kitties.
