DJ Kitty Diagnosed With Cat Scratch Fever

A cat from Boston, MA named DJ Felix was diagnosed yesterday with the city’s third confirmed case of cat scratch fever.  The fever, which causes excessive boogying, mild to moderate dancing and, in extreme cases, getting down with your bad self, is spreading like wild fire through the feline community.

Felix has been quarantined and health authorities are asking that anyone who experiences a sudden on set of rhythm call a doctor before it gets them.

TIP: Reduce Waste by Using Reusable Bags When Cat Shopping

Environmental experts at the University of Washington in St. Louis recommend using reusable shopping bags when purchasing kittens. 

“Reusable bags can reduce an individual’s shopping waste by up 75% in a given year,” said Prof. Timmo Waakiland. “In the past, these bags were not strong enough to hold cats, but newer models made using high tensile strength fabrics are finally able to withstand cat claws.”

Dog Unimpressed by Office Breakfast Spread

When his office manager mentioned a few months ago that the company would begin to serve a free daily breakfast buffet for all employees, Chester the dog was thrilled.   But in the handful of weeks since the roll out of the breakfast, he has become less excited.

“He was over the moon when they announced the new breakfast perk,” said co-worker Clete Thompson.  "But he’s just not that impressed with the spread.  It’s basically just cereal, juice and coffee every day. We haven’t seen a bagel or croissant since day one. Fresh fruit?  Yogurt?  Waffles?  Yeah right.“

Bunny Is in ‘Best Shape of His Life’ Thanks to CrossFit

Last year, Frank the bunny was 4 years old and in the worst shape of his life, until he found CrossFit.

“He was pushing middle age and just not happy with his body and his health,” recalls close friend Andy Perralta.  "After he saw some videos on YouTube of some folks doing CrossFit strength and conditioning workouts, he knew it was something he had to try. He joined the local affiliate the next day.“

Now a year later, Frank is in the best shape of his life, thanks to CrossFit and an all veggie diet.

"He has a new hop in his step,” says Perralta.
