Cat Nabs Formula 1 Victory With Homemade Car
In what racing commentators are calling “the biggest upset of the year,” a cat named Eric has come out of obscurity to best his rivals in the Korean Grand Prix. Perhaps most stunning of all, he did it with a car he built himself.
“Most F1 vehicles are masterworks of engineering and precision,” says Burt Kellog, a writer for Speed Magazine who reports on Eric’s rise to stardom. “This thing is made out of cardboard. It’s not aerodynamic at all. But, he really pulled ahead in the last race. It was a site to see.”
