Dog Stays Up All Night to See the Sunrise
Hibert the dog, a golden retriever Rotterdam, The Netherlands, successfully stayed up all night to watch the sunrise this morning.
“He wasn’t sure if he’d make it,” said Jaimie Brooks, who stayed up with Hibert. “Around 3am he started getting sleepy, but we made a quick run to the 24-hour coffee shop and got him caffeinated and back on track.”
Was it worth it? Hibert seems to think so. After watching the sun peak over the horizon, he reportedly curled into a ball and went to sleep with a smile on his face.

Elderly Cats Learn to Use Webcam
To the delight of Internet users everywhere, two adorable elderly cats named Gizmo and Chihiro had trouble figuring out how to use their new webcam. The entire thing was recorded and uploaded by friend Jay Martinez.
“The whole exchange is just hilarious,” said Martinez. "They just keep staring into the camera and trying to figure out how to turn it on, all the while broadcasting the entire thing online!“
Martinez said he uploaded the video to YouTube because he thought it was cute and funny, not to make fun of his friends. He said Gizmo and Chihiro thought it was funny too, once they were let in on the joke.

Dog Keeps Slightly Smaller Dog as Pet
In a move that many are calling “weird” and “unsavory,” Cleo the dog has decided to keep a smaller dog named Ruff as a pet.
Friends say Cleo, who was herself adopted, has always wanted adopt a dog of her own. After a visit to the local animal shelter, she fell in love with Ruff and signed the papers to take him home that day.
“It’s a little creepy, but kind of sweet, too,” said pet expert Maya Tanenbaum. “I mean, Ruff has a good home now. You can’t argue with that.”
Others don’t see it that way.
“It upsets the natural order of things,” said one friend, who wished to remain anonymous.
