Dog Describes Burglary Suspect to Police
When Lily the dog’s house was robbed last month, she was able to scare off the burglar by running downstairs and barking. Though she only got a fleeting glimpse of the culprit, she was able to describe what she saw to the police with enough detail to generate a relatively complete composite sketch.
“I’d say we’re looking for a poodle,” said Sgt. Denny Anders after reviewing the sketch. “A fancy one.”

Kitten Finds Perfect Rug at Crate & Barrel
When Leeloo the cat moved into her new apartment last year she figured she’d have it all set up in a month. Now eight months later and Leeloo has finally gotten the place to a point where she feels fully at home.
“The problem was the hardwoods,” said friend and former roommate Misty Singler. "Leeloo had never had hardwood flooring before, and she had no idea how cold it can get in the morning. So she decided to get a bunch of area rugs. Unfortunately, it was damn near impossible to find rugs she liked that were in her price range; so it has taken her awhile.“
The kitten purchased the final rug for her apartment last weekend – a soft, white shag from Crate & Barrel – and it was delivered today.
"She couldn’t be happier,” confirmed Singler.

Kitty Convinced Someone Is Stealing the Water
Elishka the cat knows something isn’t right: she can feel it in her bones.
“Every time the sink fills up with water, it inevitably flows right back out,” said close friend and advisor Tarquin Willeford. “Her working theory is that a team of highly trained, stealth ninja hamsters, employed by a major canine crime syndicate, are stealing the water. Let me stress, though, that’s just a working theory.”
According to Willeford, Elishka will remain vigilant and vows to get to the bottom of this mystery. "She’s currently planning a stakeout of the bathroom sink,“ he told The Fluffington Post by phone. "She’ll stay there all night if she has to.”

Local Dog Has No Idea How to Eat Watermelon
According to sources close to the situation, Sanchez, a local border collie, has been hungry for the better part of an hour, but has been unable to figure out how to access his food.
“He knows there’s food in there,” said Wilton Hall, an eyewitness, referring to the watermelon that has been stumping Sanchez all morning, “but he’s just not sure how to get at it.”
The Fluffington Post has learned that an engineering team has been dispatched by the city to help the puppy solve this conundrum.
