Prairie Dog Bluesman to Be Honored at House of Blues
Fats Grasser, a prairie dog harmonica virtuoso known for his mastery of the blues, will be honored in June at a tribute concert at the House of Blues in New Orleans, the legendary club announced today. The blockbuster lineup includes performances by Marcia Ball, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Taj Mahal, Ben Harper and the North Mississippi Allstars.
Grasser will be presented with a gold plated copy of his 2001 record, “Desert Burrow Blues,” which went 2x platinum in the United States.
