Rabbit Admonished for Talking With Mouthful

A local rabbit is in trouble Sunday morning after attempting to speak with his mouthful.  According to sources close to the situation, the rabbit was yelled at by friends when it appeared he was about to open his mouth while he was still chewing a large mouthful of grass.

While some feel that this was the right thing to do, others aren’t so sure.  One witness, who spoke to The Fluffington Post on the condition of anonymity wasn’t convinced the rabbit was about to speak at all.  

“I mean… yes he was chewing some grass at the time, and yes he did start to open his mouth as if to talk, but… he’s a rabbit,” said the witness. “Have you ever heard a rabbit talk?  They don’t really make too much noise.”

Bunny’s Practical Joke Falls Flat

“Yeah, it was embarrassing,” recalled witness Tammy Butterfield of area rabbit Hoppy’s attempt at humor.  "She tried to give her friend Winnie bunny ears when their photo was being taken.  But, well, that didn’t really work for obvious reasons.  It was all pretty stupid.“

According to Butterfield, when Winnie realized what Hoppy was attempting she gave the other bunny a look "like death,” and then shook her head with disdain and stalked away.  

Hoppy is reportedly undeterred by her faux pas, and is planning another practical joke later this week.

Bunny Spends All Afternoon Searching for Four-Leaf Clovers

Maisy the bunny apparently spent most of Friday afternoon combing the backyard for four-leaf clovers.  

“She’d just learned that they bring good luck,” said a source close to the situation, “and she was determined to find one.”

It was apparently explained to Maisy how rare clovers of the four-leaf variety are in nature, but she was undeterred.  As of 10pm ET, Maisy has not yet found what she’s looking for, but sources say she remains hopeful.  The Fluffington Post will keep you updated at this story unfolds.
