Verdict Expected in Landmark Squirrel Trial

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit is expected to hand down a verdict tomorrow morning in the case of the People vs. That Squirrel Who Keeps Stealing All the Birdseed.  Consensus among pundits is that while the defense’s final case was strong, the squirrel will likely lose his appeal and will be forced serve the remainder of his term in a maximum security cage, cracking acorns as penance.
