Hedgehog Literacy on the Rise Thanks to School Initiative
A new push from the Department of Education to improve hedgehog reading scores has had measurable positive results, according to government officials. Ducklings Top Celebrity Giving List for 2011
Duckling power-couple Franz and Maria Milliard, considered by many to be the spiritual heirs to Donald and Daisy, top the 2011 list of celebrity giving. Their generous donations to the ASPCA and the Humane Society have propelled them to the top of the annual list from Animals! Monthly. A spokesbird for the couple said that they are thrilled to be recognized for their charity work and hope that they’ve inspired cute things everywhere to do their part.
(Editor’s Note: The good work that the ASPCA and Humane Society do for animals around the country is very real. If you’re looking for something good to do to cap off your 2011, you can’t go wrong making a donation to either of those two organizations.)
