Otter Files Noise Complaint Over Neighbor’s Party
An otter named Samuel contacted authorities on Tuesday in an attempt to shut down a raucous party next door.
“The music was blasting — I think it was Party Rock Anthem on repeat,” says Henry Cobble, the police officer dispatched to the scene. “Samuel wasn’t the only one to complain. We had a few calls about it that night.”
Police were quick to shut the party down, mostly because of the noise, but also because LMFAO is terrible.

Otter Votes, Takes Rest of the Day Off
Sam, a local sea otter, decided to blow the rest of the work day off after doing his civic duty and voting on Tuesday morning.
“He called the office saying he had a sprained ankle,” says Kelly Philip, the greeter at Linens N’ Things where Sam works as a sales associate. “But he didn’t sound hurt to me.”

Otter Regrets Installing Above-Ground Pool
For otters, a watering hole on premises is essential. When Chester started talking to contractors, he hoped to save a little money by putting in an above-ground pool.
“It never really looks as nice as an in-ground,” says Jessie Dresher, a neighbor. “I can tell he’s already regretting the decision.”

Otter Family Spruces Up Back Yard After Long Winter
The MacBrooms, a family of otters living in Dundee, Scotland, finally got down to tending their overgrown back yard on Saturday afternoon.
The lawn certainly needed mowing, but the flower beds and hedges demanded attention as well.
