Baby Goats Start Roofing Company
Mikey and Chuck, two dairy goats from Colorado, have always been handy, and often did odd jobs for neighbors and friends.
“I told those kids that they’re too talented to be giving their work away for free,” says Ted Cousins, who lives down the road from the goats. “They should go into business.”
And so they did. Gruff Bros. Roofing and Gutters was officially incorporated in March, and the goats have been booked solid ever since.
“They replaced a few shingles for me, and word got around pretty fast that they do quality work,” says Chelsea Stonebridge, a satisfied customer. “Plus, they get paid in hay and sunflower seeds. It’s a great deal.”

Goat Way Too Smug For His Own Good
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
According to reports, a local goat is entirely too full of himself and really needs to be taken down a notch. Sources tell The Fluffington Post that Dale has been displaying signs of extreme smugness, even more than is typically expected from a goat.
“His sense of self-satisfaction is off the charts,” says farm animal expert Bess Leary. “I’ve never seen a goat that’s just so above it all. He literally couldn’t care less.”

SCIENTISTS: Goats Likely Not Planning World Takeover
According to a new study from the University of Florida, goats are not believed to be planning any sort of global uprising.  ”At least not in the next decade,” says lead researcher Dr. Anton Willis.  ”The goat communication networks are just far too underdeveloped for any sort of massive organization.  It’ll be at least 10 years before they’re able to come together on the scale necessary to foment any sort of worldwide rebellion.  But they’re up to something.  Count on that.”
That’s good news for farmers who had been fearing a goat revolution and will now have years to plan.  The Fluffington Post could not, however, find any farmers who actually had that concern.

REPORT: Billy Goats Not Gruff, Just Misunderstood
In contradiction to long held beliefs, new research out of Wales indicates that billy goats are not as gruff as once thought.  ”It’s a common misconception about goats that they are rather surly,” says Dr. Elwydd Winchester of Cardiff University, who has been studying goats in their natural habitat for over 15 years.  ”In fact, billy goats are gentle creatures.  We believe it is their voracious appetites that led to the erroneous reputation for gruffness.”
