Duck Film Star Accosts Paparazzi

A local paparazzo got more than he bargained for yesterday when he decided to snap Larry, the noted duck film star, sunbathing in a park. A fiercely private duck, Larry regularly shies away from the invasive flashbulbs and press. On this particular occasion however, Larry decided that he had simply had enough.

Witnesses tell The Fluffington Post that the attack happened in seconds . “He just got up and starting running at the guy,” says Gene Dwyer. “Pecked him with his beak a few times. He was pretty relentless.”

The unlucky shutterbug has yet to file charges.

“He got what he deserved,” says Dwyer. “I’d have done the same thing. Especially if my hair looked like that.”

Friends: Lottery-Winning Duck Is ‘Out of Touch’

Things changed for Bentley when he won $16 million in the state lottery drawing last September. He quickly upgraded from a modest one bedroom to a luxury duplex in the hills. It wasn’t long before he developed a taste for the finer things.

“There’s nothing wrong with enjoying the niceties,” says Jessie Blom, a former friend. “But what does he need tufted Egyptian cotton bath towels for? He’s a duck — the water should roll right off.”

It’s those little things that worry friends — perhaps Bentley has lost touch with his roots. “He’s really changed,” says Ericka Nebel, a family friend. “I’m not sure we have much in common anymore.”

Duckling Runs Elusive 4-Minute Mile

With a little encouragement, a baby duck named Charley ran just over one mile in four minutes — a milestone for any athlete.

“He’s really built up his endurance in recent months,” says Julio Medders, one of Charley’s running buddies. “I knew he was going to hit the mark, I just didn’t think it would be so soon.”
