Kitty and Puppy Bond Over ‘The Walking Dead’
According to notable science journal, BuzzFeed, interspecies relationships abound in the animal kingdom. Rarely, however, do scientists get any insight into what exactly forges those unlikely bonds.
But at a house in Asheville, NC, biologists are getting a unique inside view as a relationship between a dog and a cat unfolds before their eyes.
“The two started watching TV last year,” says house resident Kevin Giff. “At first they would fight about what to watch. Sparky, the dog, wanted to mostly watch football, basketball, baseball — anything with a ball, really. But Tofu, the cat, only wanted to watch old episodes of Duck Tales.”
What brought them together? AMC’s The Walking Dead.
“I don’t know what it is about that show, but since they started watching it together, they’re the best of friends,” reports Giff.
