Buying a new tennis ball would be simple, thought Nina the border collie. Just go to the store and pick one out. But who knew tennis balls came in so many different varieties? Certainly, Nina knows now.
“She thought it would just be a quick trip to the store to grab a replacement ball after her last one lost all its fuzz,” said Allison Perkins, a source close to the situation. ”But it took her four hours to pick out the perfect ball.”
Granted, conceded Perkins, things might have been easier on Nina had she not decided to shop at a store called Tennis Balls ‘R Us. ”They clearly weren’t lying when they said they have the best selection of tennis balls in North America,” said Perkins.
