STUDY: Twitter Kills Feline Productivity
According to a new study from the Pew Research Center, Twitter is a terrible drain on the productivity of cats. Researchers tracked a group of 150 cats throughout the workday in the largest known study of its kind and found that the number one reason cats get distracted from napping is Twitter.
“Cats, especially house cats, love Twitter,” said lead researcher Roger Colles. “It allows them a unique channel to stay connected while also providing an outlet for their vanity.”
However, says Colles, Twitter is also a major time suck. ”There are many valuable napping hours wasted tracking the latest hashtags,” he said.
