Hedgehog Appointed Spokespet for Strawberry Lobby The International Association of Strawberry Growers has appointed a hedgehog as their spokespet, the group is set to announce at the BerryFest Conference this morning.  “It’s an unusual choice for sure,” said professor of berry science at Duke University, Dr. Mike Mandelbaum.  ”I don’t really see the connection, but the little guy sure is cute.  I mean, will I buy more strawberries as a result?
