Rabbit’s Cilantro-Only Diet Isn’t for Everyone
Olive the rabbit loves cilantro. It is by far her favorite herb, so much so that she’s committed to a cilantro-only diet for the next month as a way to raise its profile.
“She loves it,” said Jeanine Allsop, a source close to the situation. ”She puts it in everything. The usual stuff, like tacos and guacamole, but also more unexpected foods, like tilapia and baked potatoes.”
According to Allsop, Olive’s new diet includes a cilantro smoothie for breakfast, a cilantro pesto sandwich for lunch, and braised cilantro for dinner. But she acknowledges that the diet isn’t for everyone. Cilantro is a divisive herb, and Olive knows it. Some people think it just tastes like soap — and that’s okay with her. Olive won’t let the haters discourage her.
