Pup Takes Failed Picnic In Stride
A 6-year-old King Charles Cavalier named Scout went to great lengths to plan the perfect picnic. Sandwiches, fruit, a couple of six packs — he even sprang for the Boar’s Head roast beef.
Alas, no one showed up at the park to join him.
“He made two mistakes,” says Heidi Sulzer, an event planning expert. “He didn’t announce the picnic on Facebook, and he invited his guests 20 minutes before it started.”
Still, Scout doesn’t seem disappointed, and sources close to the situation say he had a great time.
